HANDSTICKAT
MANAGEMENT ADVICE
- Store your knitted garment in a clean wardrobe on a hanger. Cedar wood keeps the moth away, available as rings or small balls.
- Heavier garments are best kept on a shelf.
- Store in a vacuum bag, if a garment is not used very often.
- Brush and air your hand-knitted garments regularly.
- Do not wash unnecessarily.
- If a garment needs to be washed, do it gently by hand, and some garments can be machine washed on a wool programme. Use detergent suitable for wool.
- Never leave a garment in water for a long time. Squeeze the water out of the garment between two towels, blot dry.
- When your knitted garment is dry, shake it so that the fibres rise again and become fluffy and fine.
Take good care of your knitwear and you'll have it forever!
